my one little word....

as Ali Edwards says... do you have a favorite word for 2010? many of you are familiar with Ali's tradition and have been joining her in selecting a new word each year to use in your digi projects. i must admit that this is the first year in all of my years of scrapping that i have chosen a word. there are many wonderful digi websites that offer such wonderful information on 'word of the year' and '365 project'. since one of my resolutions this year is to participate in the '365' i found the 'word of the year' to be most intriguing!! to read more about Ali's project, click here...Ali Edwards.

as many of you know... i have a teenage boy and the older he gets the faster time goes by for me!! i am in a phase of my life where the little moments mean so very much to me. i have never been one to journal but times are changing, now more than ever i feel the urgency to remember all of those little moments that you tend to forget, but stop you in your tracks when they happen!! the idea of '365' together with 'one little word' just seemed to click , i thought... ah, finally away for me to journal. but then i thought... how in the world will i choose my 'one word' that will represent a whole year, there are so many to choose from? as i continued to research (which i love to do, i can be geeky that way) i stumbled upon a link on Ali's blog 'word of the year discover tool' by (you can find the worksheet here)... Christine Kane. so off i hopped... downloaded her worksheet and got to work!! so... to make a long story short...

my one little word for the year 2010 is: 'now'

as in...'now in this moment', this year i want to remember all of the little moments in life that mean so much... 'the here and now'. so 'now' i am off to start working on my '365' project... i have templates to make... fonts to choose... pictures to take!!! i'll be posting my pages soon!!! hope you have a great day!!
