hi my friends... how is everyone? i sure hope that you are all doing GREAT!! sooooo to catch you up on the last couple of weeks... my son's marching band went to the State Finals Competition and i am so VERY PROUD of all of the kids in the Cy-Woods Marching Band!!! out of 800 marching bands in the State of Texas only 36 make it to the State Finals Competition!!! while we did not make it into the top 10 for finals... all of the bands that were there were winners!! a BIG congrats to Marcus HS for winning State and... a BIG congrats to Cy-Woods for making it to State and giving such a FABULOUS performance!!!! i couldn't be more PROUD of you!!!! THEN... our football team made 'District Champions' and are going to the playoffs!!!! we have our first playoff game tonight.... let the football games continue... last year we made the playoffs and had more fun traveling to the different locations!! can't wait to see what this years playoffs hold... soooo blessed to be able to share this time with the kids!!!!! well... off to go do a few things around the house before it is time to head up to school!!!!! hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!!! chat soon!!
