find your voice - a free summer workshop

hi my blog friends! how is everyone doing? i hope this post finds everyone well! i have so much to tell you and so many posts to catch up on... but for today i want to share an exciting new class with you! i recently met kristin tweedal through jennifer wilson and simple scrapper and immediately feel in love with her warm spirit and happy blog, not to mention her new shop (so many fun items)! 

so what new class am i sharing with you?

this summer i am thrilled to be participating in the 'Find Your Voice'  a class by kristin at rukristin.com.  it is a free eight week class that is all about embracing, finding and practicing with your storytelling voice. i'm excited to see where this class takes me and see everything else the community is going to be doing.  i will be sharing on facebook, instagram, pintrest (links on the right side of this page), here on my blog (with the hashtag #findyourvoice) and in the comments at rukristin.com where you can follow me along on my journey. i hope you will come along too! you can join the facebook group today and begin to share in the excitement of the class with me!!

a few key pointers about the class:

1) 'Find Your Voice' is about embracing, finding and practicing with your storytelling voice.

2) you can participate in almost any way – photography, digital images, social media, prose, scrapbooking and paper crafting.

3) it is eight weeks long, including an introduction and a wrap up.  Each week subscribers and participants will get a prompt, a lesson and a worksheet.

4) there will be many great contributors as well as a really active community, so you will be able to share your story, techniques and ideas with some great people as well as make some new friends.

Welcome to the Find Your Voice Summer Storytelling Workshop! Each week we'll be discussing a new storytelling topic and working our way through that topic with worksheets, creative projects, and group discussions. 

This class is 100% free. Topics and materials will be available Monday mornings starting June 24th at blog.rukristin.com and here in the Find Your Voice facebook group. 

This workshop is aimed at getting you to find your storytelling voice. You are an awesome person with amazing stories and we're going to work together this summer to help you find the most genuine and authentic way for you to tell those stories. This workshop is for everyone! You definitely don't need to be a scrapbooker to play along. The only thing you need is a willingness to become the author of your own story.
